There are so many school districts in Texas! How do I even go about searching for a specific subject to teach? I've went to the TEA website and branched out into several districts webpages, but there is no way I can do that for the whole state. Does anyone know how to look for a specific teaching job anywhere in Texas? Business Ed. is my specialty.

Do you have any particular areas that you are wanting to look at? The state is broken down into regions as well and each region has their own educational service center. Here is a link http://www.tea.state.tx.us/regional_services/esc/
that may help you narrow down jobs. Just click on the region of the area you're interested in and it will bring you to their page. Many regions have a job search area where all the districts that are hiring advertise openings. Good luck!

Thanks for that resource. I'm thinking of moving to Texas in the next 3 years.

Which of the regions is Dallas in? I can't find their school district.

I think it's ten but that's just going from memory and not looking so I could be way off.

    Try this link:

    http://careercenter.tasanet.org/

You can sort by region, school type, and if nothing else, get an idea of schools in the region that you're interested in, and can start ghosting their individual ISD pages.

    Bet of luck!
