Job Selection Help!

    EDIT- I ended up selecting the position that offered me a job immediately. So far, it has been GREAT! I definitely made the right decision. Thanks for all the help!

    If you really believe you have a really good chance at the district A AND are prepared to sub if it doesn't work out I'd say tell district B no. Otherwise take district B. Everyone ideally wants to get into their dream district, but as a first year teacher it's not always realistic.

    Are you willing to wait it out for the dream district and/or hometown districts? Or do you want a job ASAP?

    Call district A and tell them you have a job offer but that you would prefer to work at A. Tell them your time constraints in letting B know your decision....they may already know if they want you.
