I had that happen to me last month. But they reposted it the DAY after I interviewed. I felt pretty insulted.

I'm not sure about emailing. Hopefully someone else has a good suggestion!

The same thing happened to me. I interviewed and then 1.5 weeks later the job was reposted. They didn't like anyone they interviewed and were still looking.

It's like a kick in the gut, isn't it?

Yikes! A repost usually means they are still looking for a candidate. At least you got the interview experience. I hope something else turns up though.

Yeah... that is never a good sign. Just keep looking. Chalk it up to interview experience. And know that we have all been let down at one time or another. I hope you find something soon!

    That stinks.

I think though it can't hurt to send them a brief letter stating why you are an excellent candidate for the job. It might not result in anything but it certainly can't hurt.

Sorry. I'm not sure what you would email. It seems as though the district was not satisfied with those they had seen already....:(:sorry: your best option is sending out resumes for potential openings in OTHER districts. You don't want to be in a district that doesn't give the courtesy of a 'sorry, we're going in another direction' phone call.

Hugs st. I agree that I would move on and keep searching. I know it stinks and it hurts but an email probably won't change their mind. :(
