I recently interviewed for a 2nd grade position at a school and did not get the job. The same school just posted a 3rd grade position. The principal mentioned in the interview that he does not want to go through applications again for future jobs so I would assume he would reconsider me. I plan on reapplying but am not sure how to word the email. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks

I would send a letter of interest with your resume and drop it off at the school. That way maybe you can get some face time if he is available. I am sure it would help if you mention in your letter of interest that your application is already on file.

Schools are required to post job openings. They normally do not go through another round of interviews, but hire from those that they have already interviewed. At least this is the case in my area.

Yikes, I hope that is not the case where I am. I don't think so though.
