    Hi All.

I have a Master's Degree in Mathematics, but am not certified to teach. I live in Georgia, and therefore am trying to find a job and enroll in the GA TAPP program. I have a job interview next week. Does anyone have experience with this? What should I expect to be asked in the interview, given that I have no teaching experience.

    Thanks!

I am not sure about Georgia you would find a better response in the new teachers section of this board.

I have heard in some places that they can get you an emergency certificate to teach as long as you have a degree.

With no teaching experience, I guarantee that you will be asked about behavior management in the classroom...(it's good to have a plan), meeting the needs of diverse learners...(IEP's and differential instruction), child and adolescent development will be a concern, as well as standards and methodology. Good luck!!
