I was in the middle of filling out an online application when I came to a subject which was unfamiliar to me. I was hoping maybe someone could clue me in. They listed it as Response to intervention? Does anybody know what this is referring to?

I'm not going to be much help-but I heard it mentioned a lot when I was student teaching. A one sentence summary I found: Response to Intervention (RTI) is a new and highly-effective approach to help identify students at risk for learning disabilities and work with all students to ensure their educational success. Hopefully someone else will know more!
