We don't get much of a refund. It just goes into the checking account for everyday stuff.

Visa will get the bulk of it. With what's left, we'll take a mini-vacation over Easter break and throw some more into my car. We still have about 18 months on my car loan, and Peter's 13 year old car probably won't last that long. We would REALLY like to carry only one car loan at a time.

I think our plan is to dump our federal return on DH's car loan. Because DH is military and his state of residence is Maine, he gets back all of his state taxes, as well (last year it was about $1500, I think) and we will use that to go visit my in-laws this summer.

I usually put about $1500 towards our beach vacation in July. The rest goes to bills. :D

I bought a house so I got a refund. I am putting it towards my credit cards. I set them up this morning so that I will have them paid off by December!

Having two kids and the wifes stays home they send all my tax
money back. Second year in a row I have paid no income tax.
How does the govt. work like that? Mine all went into savings.
Some will go for the beach in june. We live less than 2 hours away from Flagler Beach,.

We always use our toward our homeowners insurance. This year we got back a little more so I was able to put ceramic tile on my kitchen floors and counter tops. I can't wait to see the finish product. Floors are done, work begins on the counter tops today.

We have already received ours and paid off the credit cards, property taxes and maintainance fees on a vacation home.
