Well, it was a LONG road, a 3-yr program that was completely online, & I had to repeat the big, final exam 7 mos later, but I finished!!! My diploma arrived in the mail the other day! I now have a MS in Communication Disorders & Sciences w/ emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology! (My first Masters is an MA in Education w/ emphasis in Special Ed along w/ two teaching credentials.) The graduation ceremony is this summer, but I don't even care about attending. As long as I'm done, that's all I care about! And I participated in my previous grad school cap & gown ceremony, so I know what it's like, plus, the campus is a long drive. I'm not entirely done. Now there's something called the CCCs that can also go after one's name, standing for clinical competence in which there's one more exam for that & there's another yr to work & have a mentor, but that should finally be it once & for all. I'm COMPLETELY DONE w/ schooling. No more for me!!!
