Year 24 for me! Yes, I started at a new school in January, and a new position, quasi administrative dealing with Title 1. Kudos to you on 39 years! I don't see myself going much past 30! By the way, teachers go back August 8, kids go back August 15. At my school (low performing), teachers will be back August 1-4 for professional development.
Modified I guess. It is 6 week summers, 2 weeks in the fall, 3 weeks at Christmas, and 2 weeks spring break. Went in to move some furniture around yesterday. Many teachers are in this week working on their classrooms.
