I am really a teacher! I went to my class for the 1st time today. Wanted to get my BBs done...but, alas, no paper yet :( So that will have to be done during in-service. I got my tentative class list and I have 26 studetns..15 girls and 11 boys. They did warn me that that list will be a changing! Now I need something for the kiddos to do on Back to School Night on Aug. 21st..Any suggestions?

You can do a quick scavenger hunt/fill in bingo so they can get to know the room.

ex. Find your seat, writing center, show parent where bathroom is, etc.

    Good luck...

Make an "Open house visitors" graph on a bulletin board.

    material
    wrapping paper
    table clothes
    sheets
    newspaper
there are so many things you can use.
