NC kindergarten teacher here. The announcement of IStation as our required statewide reading assessment program next year leaves many with mixed feelings. Regardless-come August, I have to make it work for the best for my kinders. Any insight on how you've used it-in any grade, but especially for kindergarten. We've used Successmaker in the past for a resource-and I've never been a fan of that for various reasons. I feel Successmaker only worked for my students that already cared enough to work hard and do their best. Others played, guessed, or wasted time and weren't interested. Is IStation like Successmaker? It's also a huge struggle to get kinders to log in or navigate any kind of computer program. Thanks for any help!
