Best Buy, Fry's, Office Max/Depot, Staples should all have cords for around $10.
Amazon has their own brand of cords. Try there.
I went to best buy and they had them for $25. Walmart was $15.
I did not think of office depot. Maybe I can get one cheaper there since saturday is their teacher appreciation day!
Did you ask anyone to help you? Sometimes they have the cords in different locations around the store and they're not where you'd expect to find them.
A quick search led me to find a cord for $6.99 at Best Buy:
And $7.88 at WalMart:
How did you find those??
I asked one guy at BB to help me and he showed me the one for $25.
There were only two kinds at walmart. Let me post the link for the one I just found that is cheaper. Hopefully this is the right one to purchase.
I just went to each website and typed in "usb cord".
Really, as long as the end is the right shape, a USB cord is a USB cord is a USB cord, at least for most of us and in most cases. There's no need to go all fancypants and get a $30 cord or anything like that. It might be that you're asking for a "printer cable" that's limiting your results. USB cords can be used for many other purposes besides printing.
Thanks for your help. Just ordered it. Now lets hope my ink is not dried out.
