I just want to stay home because I have no energy by the time Friday rolls around.
Friday night is pizza night at our house. I'm just too tired to cook. I also stay late Friday to get all my planning & copying done.
Not me... Fashion event and dinner with the hubby!
My colleagues go out every Friday for an adult beverage or two.
We go to happy hour every Friday- I'm about to leave in a couple of minutes! However, we always do say we're too tired to go "out out" on a Friday. We're usually pretty much happy hour and done unless it's a special occasion. If I know I'm going out late on a Friday I have to take a nap first or I'll be miserable by midnight or 1. I feel like teaching has made me old, haha!
We just got back from the mall; we end up there a lot of Friday nights.
We hit the food court, go to Target for odds and ends (tongiht: Laundry detergent and invitations to Kira's birthday party.) We're there for about 2 hours and then home.
Of course, it helps that the mall is about 2 miles away.
Luckily my hubby and I both like to stay in on any day when we had to go to work. We'll sometimes go to play board games with friends or a collectible card game he plays, and we'll occasionally go to a theater performance or community organization meeting on a weeknight, but basically unless it's a school function, we're not going out. We go out on weekends, but still like to get home pretty early.
I'm hoping to be fast asleep by 9:30 tonight... 10 at the latest...
I go out with my colleagues every Thursday for Happy Hour. I wish it were Friday! We always have a good time. Friday, I am really tired because I stayed up late Thursday. With me being new to Ms. going out has helped me make new friends.
I will be taking a nice warm bath in a few minutes and then curl up on the bed and read a book.
I'm too tired by Friday to do much of anything... I consider myself lucky if I don't fall asleep on the couch before 9.
Though a bath and book sounds really nice right now!
You're staying up late! I'll probably be about an hour ahead of you--fighting this cold has me beat.
I am absolutely exhausted by Friday night. I don't want to go out. I don't want to do anything that doesn't involve staying in.
Well, it's 10 pm and I'm about to go lay down and sleep!
We don't usually go out on Friday nights because "going out" involves actually having to drive somewhere . . . 20 to 50 miles, minimum. We don't drink, and we don't live in a town with a bar or other kind of nightlife anyway.
Tonight DH cooked supper, and then we went to the high school basketball game. We met up with two of my friends there.
We used to go out to dinner every Friday night cause I was too tired to cook, but can't afford it right now - bummer! I haven't had to cook 7 days a week in a long time - double bummer!

Well, this Friday was busy. My wife had a four year old come home with our four year old from PreK at 11. Her mom was the one who broke into my truck (right in front of the house). She is now doing real time in prison for all kinds of stuff (drug addict). I went to the next town for pizza and the neighbors Px. She is 94. Took her and her daughter pizza, too. Then my brother came over to re-screen the front door our little dog tore up. Got that finished and then had my hungry howies chef salad (not bad) and pizza and a little Wild Turkey and coke. Before that I took little Rachell home. She is a sweet heart. I teach her older sisters. After dark Kevin (my 7 year old) and I took a walk around our small town while he rode his razor scooter board and I walked off the wild turkey. But it is usually just pizza night.
But I was VERY careful to keep it out of facebook.
I always feel too tired to do anything too, but unfortunately I work 2 jobs so I have no choice. Last night was awful. I work at a restaurant, and we got very busy just before closing. I didn't leave until almost 1 am!!
If I didn't have kids, I would take a nap every Friday afternoon! As it is, I was in bed and out by 9:00. That meant I woke up at 5, but at least I got a shower and dried my hair and made biscuits before the kids got up - and all of that means I'll probably be back in bed by 9 or 10 tonight lol
Well, I managed to stay up until 10:30. Then my roommate and I started watching a movie, but we both fell asleep about 1/4 into it!
No. But we stay home because everyone else our age is.
I like to stay in and catch up on some tv shows. I really don't like going out since there are always crowds of people at restaurants, etc. I caught up on Modern Family and a few other shows and stayed up until 11:30 reading the new Stephanie Plum book. That's my kind of Friday night LOL
I'm too exhausted during the week I wake up at 5:15, try to go for a run (very, very short) or walk to wake me up, but lately I haven't eve been able to do that. Otherwise I'd have to wake up at 5:45, so these 30 minutes are not a big deal. When I am able to do it, I feel I have more energy.
Schol is over at 2:30, I try not to stay more than 30 minutes (New year resolution), so I'm home by 3:30.
And then I just want to relax, often I end up falling asleep for 2-3 hours. There are days when I come home, sleep until 7 pm, wake up, make dinner, etc, do some planning, grading, and go back to sleep at 11 pm. I don't know why I'm so tired
Friday morning I cannot even think about going out that night, my plan is to come home and sleep through the whole weekend.
But somehow I get myself together and go out for a drink, etc.
I tend to stay home on Friday evenings, but I just about go out on other weekdays just as often as on the Fridays when I do go out.

I have more energy at 6:00 AM on Monday than I do 6:00 PM on Friday. If I go out it is someplace fairly low key such as the movies.

Nope nope nope! That’s not the case with me.
We have a pretty standard Friday night routine. We come home from school, take a nap 'til six or so. Then we go eat out, go to Wal-Mart, come home and laze about until we get tired enough to get in bed. Definitely a lazy evening.
I usually sit around and watch TV...Now I wish it was Friday!
I have "Friday Nap Time" when I get home, and then I am usually good to go, but BF never wants to do anything on Friday night.
On pay day Fridays we have been trying to go out for happy hour.
I will say, though, that I'm wide awake and raring to go by 5:30 or 6 am on Saturday.
Me too--I'm usually finished at the grocery store by 7:00am!
We don't "go out", but we do our grocery shopping around two in the morning during the weekends. But we don't do movies, bars, and things like that.

I am too tired! I am not a night person to begin with, so I get home, have dinner with DH, and settle in to read or knit.
Occasionally my DH and I will go grab a burger at our favorite place.
If I keep moving I am fine, but if I sit down it is all over!
