I had my one and only interview this summer for the part-time teacher position this morning. It went well I thought. I felt comfortable with all of the questions. One of the eight-member panel walked me out and said I did a good job. I have no idea how many candidates they interviewed so it's hard to tell what my chances are at this point. They said they would be calling all of the candidates within the next couple of days whether they were chosen for the second interview or not. They said the top two candidates will meet with the superintendent for the second interview. So, it's just a waiting game for me right now. We'll see. I felt really good when walking out of the interview, but later in the day I started second-guessing myself. Did I talk with my hands too much, ramble? That sort of thing. I need to put it behind me and move on. One good thing about this though is that I have an interview under my belt so I will be even more confident next time. Thanks everyone for all your help.
