i have an interview tomorrow for a teacher's aide position and i was wondering if any of you all could pass along some wisdom on possible interview questions/topics. if have not had the opportunity to interview as an aide yet, but wanted to get an idea of how to prepare. any help would be VERY much appreciated!
When they ask you questions about whether or not the aide talks to the parent about students, emphasize confidentiality. The teacher solely, unless the teacher allows it, is in charge of parent communications.
Yes, and the teacher is in charge of discipline. I know that sounds basic but I've found myself wondering if I should shush certain kids and now I know that I'm not supposed to. We are there for backup and support only.
