    Hi,

I am a recent grad and am hoping for interviews and a job for the upcoming school year. I wondered if any first year teachers would mind posting interview questions that they were asked as first year teachers.
    Thanks,

What your classroom management system is
How you plan to use technology or what you know about technology

Those were the 2 that I was asked by all of the ppl I interviewed with. If there is a specific grade that you're interviewing for, then they will probably ask you questions geared more towards that grade. For example, I interviewed for 1st so I was asked questions about reading.

They may also ask you things such as, do you work well with a team.

Go to the interview thread in the job seekers section. If you can answer al of the questions in that thread, then you'll be prepared for almost any interview.

"How would you manage your classroom?"
"What can you bring to __ grade?"
"What is your opinion on using manipulatives to teach math?"
"How comfortable are you with technology?"

I'll post more when I remember... it was last summer. :)
