Hey guys, I'm a recent college graduate, and just received my first phone call for an interview for a social studies teaching position for the fall school year. I have a question regarding what I should wear to the job interview. Obviously the standard dress pants, shoes, shirt, and tie are standard. Do I need to wear a suit jacket to the interview, or is just shirt and tie appropriate? I ask this in regards to professionalism, as I obviously want to dress for success, however I've only worn a jacket once in the past 3 years, and it's not something I'm exactly comfortable in (not to mention next week in the warm June weather!) Am I overthinking this? What do you think a guy should wear to a teaching interview?
