Does anyone have advice about interviewing at a school where you have already subbed at? I wasn't a long-term sub, but probably did about 10-15 days scattered. I have already asked two teachers at this school for a reference, but what else do you expect from an internal - but not internal - interview???

I would expect typical interview questions:

    Tell us about yourself
    Classroom management
    Differentiation questions

Remember that the people who interview you may not know you have subbed there.. Work that into your answers and mention the things that you have learned from the staff and students

I had an internal interview this past june-

Slight advantage that you an internal canidtate but dont take it for granted!

They still asked the same questions as a typical interview- 10 scripted questions since the first interview is typically a screening interview-

See if you can find who is interviewing you- this will help you prepare!

Definitely say that you've enjoyed subbing there and as a result feel like you'd be a good fit.
