I think I got off to a great start for my job search. I just got back from my interview, and I think it went pretty darn good. To quote the principal: [this was after the interview while we were in his office] "I just witnessed a very mature 23-year-old doing an incredible job of answering the interview questions. And it's my guess that [the two English teachers who helped in the interview] thought the same thing too." I didn't get an offer on the spot (they still had an interviewee scheduled after me), but he sure did make my prospects sound decent enough though. He said he will be making a decision this week! However, there is a small hiccup. I just got an email from a neighboring district who WANTS TO INTERVIEW ME AS WELL! I almost married myself to the job today because it is such a FANTASTIC work environment. Also, I'm super exhausted from the interview itself. I'll have to drive another two hours to interview at an area I was just at. My gas bill is definitely going to be pretty high this month. P.S. Again, no cover letter. This time I emailed the principal (after prior correspondence) that I would be in the area and I would like to come by for an interview. She said okay!
