Hi all. I've been told that my school is going to start a trial of an 'integrated learning platform'. I've not learned a great deal yet, but, as I understand it, students are going to get tablet computers in class and be taught using software rather than pens, paper and textbooks. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with a similar system. What should I expect? Anyone found a system that works well?

This sounds like a 1 to 1 environment: 1 computer per student. Do a little research on this and I'll bet you'll find some useful ideas.

My district has yet to implement a 1 to 1 environment.
