How is this magazine compared to Mailbox? I'm in third grade.

Note to all: The link opens normally now. You can also use the banner at the top of the forum to check it out. :)

I don't think it compares at all. It's good and has great ideas but not the same format as mailbox. For 8 dollars though it's good info.

I actually like it more, though I use both and am aware of the benefits of each. The reproducibles are much more "mature", in my opinion.

This same thread is posted else where but I thought someone might miss the information

I recently got an email from NEA. If you click on
    http://www.neamag.com/get2
there's an offer for 2 free magazine subscriptions. Not a wonderful selection, but Instructor is free (doesn't mention the tote bag).

I went to this link, it mentioned the 2 free magazines for being a member of NEA. Does that mean I have to join something? (Sorry, I always figure nothing is really ever free, there's gotta be a catch...)

I'm already a member of AEA (Alabama) which is how I got the information but I don't see anything about membership numbers or anything. Maybe that is held within the inner workings of all this technology stuff but I know a couple of people said they subscribed and didn't mention being asked either. My philosophy is always try it out, read the fine print as you go and you can always back out before you submit or give them credit card numbers.
