I am a new third grade teacher and I have been cleaning out the TONS of leftover things (like notes from the '90s) that were left in my classroom. I also found about 10 large classroom incentive charts. What do you use these for? I have heard some people use them for AR points but my school doesn't do AR until grade 5. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks all!

You can use them for anything really..

    For example:
-every chapter book earns you a sticker...whoever has 5 at the end of the quarter gets to participate in a celebration

-every week they have turned in all homework they get a sticker, etc.

I use mine for my reading logs. Every week that they turn in their reading log they get a sticker (last year I laminated them and just drew stars instead). After they have 4 stickers they got a certificate for a free pizza (the Book It program). You could do other rewards too.
