I went to school last week and brought home almost all of the contents from my two, four-drawer filing cabinets to organize. I thought it would be easier to do at home, plus I really like being at home while I do school work (plus, saving gas is important). Anyhow...I've been working for two days now and I'm exhausted. I'm still not done either. I've been going through each folder and pulling out any duplicate copies. I've also been pulling out items that are too low/high for my third graders and putting them in a box that I will store in the back of my classroom just in case I need it. I can't believe all the duplicates I had in my files. I've reduced my files so much, I feel like I don't have much in the way of resources. It's funny how much clutter can collect without even knowing it. Hopefully, after I've gone through my filing cabinets, I can keep them organized!
