Many teachers in my district attended a data retreat a few weeks ago to discuss test scores. There are a lot of students in my district who are considered economically disadvantaged, and we saw huge gaps in achievement in that area in particular. We are having a meeting in the coming weeks to discuss ways to improve test scores at the middle and high school level. I am wondering what other schools/districts are doing to bring up scores on state/national tests (things like the ACT, for example). Could anyone share any ideas?
