So..school for the county that I want to work in ended last week. I had an interview for a school Monday and I felt it went pretty well. The principal told me she had a few more people to interview this week and next week before making a final decision (ughh). There are tons of openings on the county's website and I have applied for them all. I'm just so impatient! I want to know where I will be working in August now!! It's so discouraging and it's making me sad and have a bad mood. Impatience is definitely not a good trait to have. (period)

    Just needed to vent:(

Today was the last day for teachers in our county where I subbed all year for one school. (2 LTS and day to day subbing) I have applied for at least 20 jobs and have not gotten one interview!
I am definitely not a patient person, but what choice do I have?
good luck to you, hope they hire you soon

I agree, but would amend to say until you have signed your contract. I've heard too many stories of people having an offer yanked away for one reason or another - until I sign something, I am still hunting, just to protect myself.
