...it is sort of abstract of a couple whose arms are somehow intertwined to form a circle, it's white, rather popular, and I'm giving a very poor description...please help anyway!

Is it one of those figurines that can be used as a wedding cake topper?

    family, mother and child

I have seen marble of statues like such.
also, the mother and child is really popular.
I have LLADRO of similar description and also a candle with similar.
good luck. If you have a burlington coat factory near you, i have seen lots there.

When do you need this by? I know the one you mean and see it in catalogs frequently. I'll keep my eyes open.

OOOOOh Ruth - the Lladro one is so beautiful!

Like I said, thanks to Upsadaisy I tried searching catalog company websites. On abbeypress.com under collectors corner/wedding and anniversary I found two figurines one called "forever bride and groom" on page 12 this is the one I plan to get and another called "union of the heart" on page 8 which is similar...I imagine there are several companies that make this figurines or ones like it, Abbey Press is a favorite catalog of mine so I looked there. I don't need it for a couple months so I may see if I can it for a lower price somewhere, but if not I feel Abbey Press usually offers fair prices...and I can always find something else to order for myself when I order this as a gift!

    union of heart

I have a necklace i received for mothers day that has a father, mother and two children holding hands and it forms a heart... just like that statue. I had seen one child and mother, i have seen one child with two adult, but i fell in love with this charm.

Beautiful peice. I think the price is steep. i hope you find it cheeper.
