IMMEDIATE MEETING BETWEEN STUDENT AND TEACHER. FOR MINOR INFRACTIONS, WE HAVE A 5-MIN CHART WITH STICKS, EVERY STICK LOSES THEM 5 MIN OF RECESS. WE ALSO THO HAVE A MARBLE JAR, FOR EVERY COMPLIMENT FROM ANOTHER TEACHER, WE PUT IN A MARBLE FOR THE CLASS TO WORK ON A COMMON GOAL, LIKE A MOVIE DAY OR PIZZA OR ICE CREAM PARTY. ♣ How does your program deal with holiday celebrations? WE HAVE CLASS PARENTS WHO PLAN IN-CLASS PARTIES. IF IT IS A MAJOR HOLIDAY, LIKE CHRISTMAS, WE HAVE A HOLIDAY AND TRADITIONS CELEBRATION FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL, WITH DIFFERENT STATIONS SET UP AROUND SCHOOL. ♣ How are diverse cultures represented in your classroom environment? LACK OF PARENTAL SUPPORT AT TIME, GOVERNOR IN OUR STATE WHO IS CONSTANTLY BASHING TEACHERS, CHANGES BEING MADE BY ADMINISTRATORS WHO DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE THEM.
