Remember I got a job and they started me out as a long term sub in Kindergarten? (even tho I was opening a new classroom and not subbing for anyone per se? ) Well, I called human resources and he said they are interviewing for the position next week and I will be interviewed. There were over 600 applicants! Anyway, on a positive note, he said he has heard only good things about me from my school. Then the principal called me and said my interview is at 3:30 Tuesday, with her and another principal who is also hiring a K teacher (and I'm pretty sure has a long term sub in there now as well) I told her I hope I am not too wiped out because it will be right after class, I will probably have to stop and get a Starbucks! and she laughed and said don't worry! and bring me one! She's very nice, we get along really well. So, I'm interviewing to keep the job I have. I think I will bring clothes to change into and some interview questions to prepare beforehand. And get the Starbucks! I will let you all know how the interview went and if I get the job! I'm excited because I started to think "what if they keep me as a sub all year long because of the budget?" So, this is looking good.
