Maybe this has been asked before, but if you weren't teaching, what would you do?

Here's some jobs that I think I would like:

    1) physical or occupational therapist, or aid

    2) Librarian

I like working with people and dislike desk jobs. There are jobs that I would like more but they don't pay well. I would like working at a small book store more than teaching (it's just that the pay is really bad)

I have often thought it would be interesting to be a travel show host ala Rick Steves or Rudy Maxa. It would be amazing to travel the globe and learn about different places and cultures.

I might enjoy being an event planner.

I'd probably work as a librarian or an MRI tech.

Funny. I left a short-lived career in that in order to be a teacher.

is it unfair to say I'd like to be a multi-million or billionaire? Librarian, theater director, financial advisor (I know NOTHING about it but realize many know even less and I really enjoy the little I do know - kind of like playing monopoly - just that the high stakes scares me)
oh wait, these are the things I would LIKE to do...what I would actually do? ummmm....would you like a donut with that coffee?

Speech pathologist or occupational therapist. Both fascinate me.

I was accepted into Physical Therapy School but backed out about three months before starting and pursued an alternative certification. So, most likely that.

Leaving teaching next year to try engineering which I got interested in because I was teaching science and engineering. I had never considered it prior.

But someday I imagine retiring and working as an archaeologist.

Probably a nurse or one of those other non-doctors of the medical world. Mostly because I don't want to go to school to become a doctor.

I was a prosecutor before going into teaching, and am considering becoming an arbitrator when I retire or leave.

A professional organizer. I love throwing things away and coming up with an efficient storage system. My label maker is my one true love.:purpleheart::purpleheart:
