What would you be doing right now if you weren't on AtoZ?

Are you supposed to be doing something else, or is this your off time?

I am supposed to be doing college work. :(

    So off I go.

I am watching the OSU / ASU game on TV. I think I would be asleep if not on AZ, cause I do that when I watch tv.

Same here. If it wasn't for this board, there's always something else to do, but I really enjoy this board! :)

I should be doing some of the mountains of school work I brought home, but after the celebration party following my daughter's soccer game this afternoon, I need to do something that doesn't require quite as much concentration.

Tomorrow, I'll likely be here quite a bit as I will be avoiding both the schoolwork and the housework.

I'm avoiding the pile of grades to enter into the gradebook and doing some planning. I ust came here because of a quick question--but I'm sure I'll end up sticking around for a while ;)

I'm never bored. I'd be doing something exciting or productive as I was before I logged on and as I will be after I log off....

I had my husband take the kids out for a couple of hours so that I could get my planning done, plus a huge amount of organization for a field trip on Tuesday. I got done a half hour before their return....so I guess I'd be relaxing if I wasn't on here!

Yeah, he's pretty great about that. He knows that I'm happier (and therefore, he's happier) if I can actually get all of my work done. I'm always stressed thinking about what else I need to do...

It is hard for a lot of spouses to understand the demands of a teaching job. My DH had a big adjustment period but now he is fantastic. For at least the past year, as I have been back at university and teaching, he has done just about everything in the house, plus his two jobs! But it was an adjustment for us all, me going from SAHM to full time teacher!

I'm a major "multi-tasker", so I never JUST do one thing at a time. While I'm on here, I'm also on another teacher site and Facebook. I'm also writing lesson plans for next week and entering grades and setting AR goals. I have a cake cooling on the counter, and I'm watching CSI Miami reruns.

I was on my way to finding something on the Internet, and stopped off here for a quick view. Two hours later......

(That abortion thread was long and interesting--great discussion for the most part.)

I should be sleeping but my SO and dog are snoring in the bed. The worst part is that they are snoring opposite of each other.

    It's 7:07 am.

I just typed up an Algebra test and a makeup for those who will inevitably be sick on Friday.

Anywhere else in the house, I would wake up either the dog or someone in my family, and it's too chilly to go sit in the yard with a cup of tea.

So I'm in the basement on A to Z.

Lesson plans or laundry . There are times I really try to stay away because I feel like I should be getting other things done, but I just get sucked back in :p.

I believe this site is light years above other teacher forums in it's etiquette-you wouldn't believe how mean they can be elsewhere!

Reading the Architectural Digest which came in the mail today, there's a big story about "Inside Michael Jackson's Private Kingodom", or folding clothes, or grading papers.

Right now it's 7 am and I'm supposed to be finishing my lunch and my boyfriend's lunch for today. I'm also supposed to be making our breakfast (oatmeal) and finish getting ready for work. HAHA
