You will received a $5 giving code for Donorschoose.org... my class would really appreciate your help on our project! We have already had 22 very generous donors... and you could be one more! http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/proposal.html?id=460064 Thanks
If anyone would like to do the same and use them on my project I would be grateful! http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/proposal.html?id=442350
Thanks - just contributed my gift card to your project :thumb: BTW - Question about your BB - Are those projects your students made? What was the project?
Yes my class last year made them and they loved doing it. I called it "historical head" and I had them pick a person from the American Revolution and get in their head and draw pictures about what they would think about the war. They had to then do a small write up explaining each picture and why they chose it and what the person would think about it. This can work for a bunch of different units by just changing the people around. I usually do it once a year and they look great hanging up.
That's what I thought they were - I use historical heads often but have never been able to find the great silhouettes your students made on your BB. I only have a clip art outline of a head that looks kinda cheesy I have my students do historical heads for the Greek philsosphers, absolute monarchs and enlightened thinkers for World History. So where did you find those great silhouettes??
I added to yours I also did my trick that I just learned the other day... so now your project is on Stephen Colbert's giving page, and will hopefully be funded by his supporters!
Believe it or not I did not give them any outlines of heads! The students made those themselves (7th grade honors).
Well, you have some really awesome students :thumb: Maybe I have given my students too much. I think I will try your approach for my upcoming unit on Greece.
