If you had $40 given to you right now and could spend it on anything for your classroom and/ or students, what would you get?

I found individual white boards at Target in the dollar section!!! They're awesome. They have lines on one side and blank on the other for drawing. They erase really well too, I figured being a dollar they would stain a little with dark markers, but they haven't!
A red area rug from Family Dollar and ??? (I've spent quite a bit more than that already, so I don't know what else I might want...
I already have 14 of the fantastic illustrated Webster children's dictionaries, so an illustrated children's thesaurus to go with each one would be nice. Vocabulary power!
I need.... ABC Line Number Line Shapes BB Individual White Boards Glue Gun That's my top priority list at the moment but I also will be needing to build center stuff and craft stuff throughout the year.
A book display similar to this one, but with colored canvas and the wood is painted pale yellow. http://www.childrensorganizers.com/k14221.html I have one and the kids look at so many more books from it than the baskets that I'd love another. And they happen to have them at the Big Lots near me.... For $39!
If you teach in a "mixed income" school, why not send parents a "wish list" ? (This probably won't work if Dad just lost his job, or all four children in the family are on free lunches, etc., but it might work where at least some parents have a little more money) In my experience, parents are more likely to donate for a specific piece of equipment than a general fund-raiser for the school.
is there some cute red rug there that I don't know a thing about? what are the dimensions, karebear? I'd spend the $40 on rugs; I threw out my old rugs in June.
I really want a real plant this year, too... As for how I'd spend $40 right now, I'd probably put it towards a higher-priced item.
A kid gave me a plant a year ago. It was tiny. Now it is beautiful. I show it off and tell people who it came from.
White boards! My first graders used them regularly. Also more manipulatives--you can never have enough and it's hard to find them cheap.
I want magnetic notebook paper. It looks like a huge sheet of notebook paper and its magnetic and dry-eraseable. I also want cafeteria trays so manipulatives and craft things (and hands) stay in the right place!
It's just a plain red rug, I'd guess about 4 x 8 or so (not certain), not huge but I'd use it for decor more than purpose. It was $22 I think. I just want it because my room is red/black to go with the ladybug theme. I bought a black runner to cover up the cords for the Smartboard, and would love to have the red splash of color!
ok; I'll have to stop in at Family Dollar and take a look at them. My room is in red & green so the red will look nice.
I'd probably buy nice fabric and curtain rods to conceal some of the unsightly open shelving in my room.
