how much space does it take? How many pages do you have to print out for one week (or do you do it daily)?

I'm trying to do it on my computer just because I can't find exactly what I want in paper form but I've got 3 pages of reading (done in landscape-week at a time-table format).

Would anyone be willing to share their template if there is a better way?

    TIA

I did mine in landscape and did a week on 2 sheets. I'd put in a plastic sheet protector & flip back & forth. I hope that makes sense.

I usually do one page for each day, but sometimes I take two pages, if I have more details to add.

I try to plan it out on Sundays, but sometimes I have to do it daily.

I use two pages with very small font. It's a simple table with 3 columns and 6 rows.

    2 Pages

I do mine in portrait orientation. I keep what is in mine simple. If I need to be gone I type up a more in-depth form. I do it this way b/c they are for me. I can't seem to make any attachments, so if you PM me I will email my format to you.

I use a district template for the lesson plans I email to the principal weekly and then I print out a hard copy for easy access during teaching. I use a lesson planning book in pencil for curriculum mapping and moving things around.

I have one week per page--landscape. I print one copy for my principal and one for me. My copy goes in a three-ring binder.

    Template for Lesson Plans needed

I do not have a template. Maybe I can go make one now. I'll use word and excel. I think it is quick and easy for me to take a section of excel cells and copy and paste them into word.
In excel highlight the cells you decide you want to use. Go to format, cells, click the Number tab, and choose text.
Click the Alignment tab and choose Left ident for horizontal, center for vertical and choose wrap text. For text direction choose "left to right."
Then just highlight the whole table and pasted into Word.

Ok, I made one. I don't know how to post it.

Ok, maybe you want to know the headings for the columns and rows.
For rows I have Monday through Friday.
For the columns I have Performance Objectives, "The student will...," Activities, Materials, Miscellaneous.
    Put the date somewhere.
When posting on computer for parents/students to see, might as well include course and class policies.
That is all I can think of.
    Have fun.

I can't post attachments. If you send me a private message with your email I will send it to you. It is in word and is for 1st grade, but you could definitely modify it.

I also use 2 pages per week. I only type up things in detail when I'm going to be having a sub. I print it out and put it in a three ring binder. I'd be happy to share a finished one from last year...just send me a PM:) PS- Its done in word:)
