    Hello everyone,

I should start by saying that this is my first year teaching a special education preschool classroom. I could use some help/advice with music time. I would like some suggestions of music you have been using in your classroom and/or ideas for music time.
I have been using for the last month and a half I've been in the classroom the same CD that the old teacher left, that is a compilation of some favorite children's songs, as well as my Creg and Steve kids in action cd.
I was also curious to know if there is a website I can download some free music.
    Thank you!

Can you access Youtube at work? With my daughter, I often play songs off of there and they often have video clips to go with the songs that are great.

I use Dr. Jean a lot in my classroom, as well as YouTube like mopar.

I don't know of any good sites for free music but I also work part time at my local library, which has a TON of good music. Sometimes it's a hit and miss but it can be worth it.

Also, don't know if you wanted songs specific to working with a sp. ed. class but when I've worked in such classrooms we usually use the basic, traditional songs with A LOT of visuals and interactive materials.
