Earlier this year I gave up soda and artificial sweeteners, and now I am trying to stop drinking my calories in general. So besides water, pretty much my only other option is iced tea.

This summer we have been keeping 3 pitchers of tea in the fridge.

Our basic tea is 4 bags of Tetley Decaf and 4 bags of Twinings Earl Grey for a gallon pitcher.

Then I always have a half gallon of chai - I use 6 bags of Celestial Seasonings Decaf Chai for a half gallon of water. I make it stronger because I fix it with a little milk.

The other gallon we rotate. Right now I have a Blackberry - 4 Tetley Decaf and 4 Lipton Blackberry per gallon of water. I also do the same but with Twinings Four Red Berries instead of the Lipton Blackberry. And I like to make Mango green tea, which is 4 bags of decaf green tea and 4 bags of mango green tea.

These combos are all great without sugar, but sometimes if I want to change it up, I will mix in a packet of Stevia.

Anyone else have any good tea recipes or blends?

Ina Garten's recipe for iced tea:

4 Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger tea bags
4 Celestial Seasonings Red Zinger tea bags
    4 cups pure apple juice
    Directions
Steep the 8 tea bags in 4 cups of boiling water for about 10 minutes. Discard the tea bags. Combine the tea with the apple juice and refrigerate until cold. Serve over ice.

    It's so yummy.

I also love iced Celestial Seasons raspberry tea- I make it by the glassful with my Keurig.

I like the regular tea (whatever kind you like) with about 1/4 of the tea bags being the constant comment tea by bigelow.

it is a slightly spicy tea with hints of orange.

my new favorite comes from Gevalia: Honey Ginseng Mint Tea - unsweet. I use two bags and three regular tea bags per gallon. Yum!

not tea, but I just bought a fruit infusions pitcher. There is a column in the middle where you place cut up fruit. It has holes in it. You pour water in and the fruit is infused in the water. You change the fruit about 1 or 2 times a week and it really works! Right now I have strawberry-lemon water in the fridge.
You could also put tea in there with fruit in the middle.

I love it! I got mine at a cute little gift shop on vacation. Thought it was the coolest souvenir and even had to rearrange my suitcase to fit it inside so I could bring it home.

Returned home and found out they are at Bed Bath & Beyond.

I looked online at BBB and couldn't find the one I got. I searched for "fruit infusions pitcher" and a different one popped up. Says it does the same thing. It has tea in it in the picture.

I enjoy flavored iced tea as well. I just make regular iced tea and add a can of peach or apricot nectar and stir. It is delicious!
