Hi forum, can anyone give me advice about IB training. I am a qualified UK teacher with no experience of IB. I am considering applying for international schools which offer the IB program. Is it worth taking the IB training privately, then applying for posts, or applying to schools with the hope of being recruited and then doing the training through the school. Many thanks for your responses

Apply for posts and let them pay for your training. It's not cheap. I work at an IB school and had no training whatsoever and it was not a problem. They've provided some in school professional development sessions and they plan to send me out to a workshop at some point soon. What do you teach? Good luck.
