What do you know about IB schools? What are your experiences with them if you work for one?

I'd like to start a conversation to become more aware of the different schools out there and I've never seen a thread about an IB school.

They have a great web site with plenty of info. I'd love to be in one and have had a student who was. My student was a first grader who was promoted to second grade. She was a great student and academically and fit right in with my second graders.

They test and place the kids like a G.T. school.

I've just completed my first year teaching in an IB school. I teach MYP and find it so much more meaningful and deep than when I taught in a regular school. In addition, I have a son in grade 9 who is thriving in this setting as well.
