    Opara, I'm sure you'll get some responses, but most are at school right now. I'm at school, too, but I have access to a computer and often log in during my lunch or free period, but not everyone has that luxury.

    Off to prepare for the next class!

    What age level are the students that you're teaching these things to? That might make a difference in our suggestions :)

    Opara, I'm so sorry nobody has responded yet, but I think they may be in the same position I'm in, which is that I've never had to teach computer. I wouldn't know where to start with this. I'm sorry.

    Hmmmm. Components of a computer. Is that like all the specific parts of a computer? Could you draw a picture or download one and then have the kids write all the parts that correspond to the picture? When are you teaching it? My Mom teaches computers and would have lots of ideas, but she is also at school right now.

    Hello!

    My Mom says that she uses an Intel video to teach computer compenents. Not very helpful. But she did suggest getting an old computer or two and letting the kids take it apart and label the pieces. A lot of schools have old computers that no longer work. You should ask around. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Good luck.

    can I have this song recorded so I can use it ....
    ""Simon Says" (or use another term for Simon) game with computer parts.
    Example - Simon says touch the mouse; Simon says point to the monitor; Simon says gently press the keyboard spacebar;
    Simon says point to the printer in the room; Simon says click your nose like a mouse, etc."
    Thanks alot

    Simon Says is a game, not a song. The rules are that the players must ONLY do it when you say "Simon Says" --

    If you say, "Simon Says: Point to the monitor"
    All the students should point.

    If you say, "Point to the monitor"
    They should not point. If someone does, they are out of the "game"

    It's a popular listening game in the U.S. :)
