The principal called me this morning! He offered me the position and I will be coaching 7th grade volleyball as well. Of course we still have to do all of the paperwork and go in front of the board. I am so excited!

I forgot to tell you what I will be teaching! OOPs 8th grade language arts. My head is spinning. Never give up! Around here positions are few and far between. I sent in my resume for a completely different job, emailed about a time table for interviews. Then he called for an interview for this position. After the interview I sent a thank you letter, which he commented on!
crayonfan, I could tell from yesterday's post that this was going to work out for you. Congratulations! I loved teaching 8th Gr. Lang Arts. We did some fun Holocaust activities.

Congratulations on the job and coaching position!!! Not only does it seem that teaching jobs are few and far between, but coaching positions are also scarce. What a great oppurtunity!
All good things come to those who wait...guess it's true!! Congrats!!! I waited 3 months to find out that I still had my job for the fall!!! My stress level was off the charts!! Much better now!! Can breathe again....whew!! All of this good news will rub off on all of you!! I just know it!!
There is so much good advice on here. I would have never thought to send a thank you note. If it weren't for the encouragement from this board, I don't think I would have emailed about interviews either.
