    Until I became a teacher.
    I will never have to watch the weather again for as long as I live. The kid's behavior predicts that better than any weatherman ever will.
    They're also really good at letting me know when there is a full moon.


    Thoughts? Experiences? Discuss?

    I can also predict major weather fronts, especially with snow.

    Full moons and SPE... yep. We can figure it out EVERY TIME! Kids off the wall? Look at the calendar. YEP! Full moon!

    We've had thunder and lightning for 3 days and my students have been off the wall!! I hope they calm down once the weather calms down.

    I've told parents, that based upon the class' behavior today, to check the t.v. before leaving for school in the morning. The storm is coming.

    I agree! I also agree that Friday the 13th does something to this kids. Oh my goodness... it was a ROUGH morning with my babies!

    My mom can predict the weather rather accurately (and the severity of a storm) depending on where she hurts and how much it hurts. Her back almost went out before Sandy.

    Very true. And it never fails to amaze me how worked up they get over a storm. Rain! Thunder! Lightning! Everyone freaks out! And stays crazy for the rest of the day!

    Holy crap kids, you live in FL. You are used to this. It storms almost every day from May to October. Quit freaking out!

    Storms and arthritis.... oh goodness yes. My husband's feet KILL him when a storm is brewing!
