Is there any way that I could control the Powerpoint by my iPhone? I really don't wanna stand on the stage holding a mouse, looks a little bit dumb to me.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

This is often impossible due to the way school wifi networks function. To use your device you have to be on the same wifi network and on one that allows devices to easily talk to one another (and not to the other hundred + devices on the network.) Most school networks aren't set up that way.

You're much better off just buying a remote presenter like https://www.amazon.com/H50175-Prese...qid=1479740289&sr=8-1&keywords=hiro+presenter

If you are set on using your phone you'll need to work with the school's IT people to get the right permissions.

This. Most schools don't allow teachers to put personal devices on their wifi.

If you do get permission to put your phone on the same wifi as your laptop, apparently this is a good app: https://www.quora.com/Which-iPhone-app-is-the-best-to-control-PowerPoint

I also have a program called AirServer (only about 13 dollars) which you can download to your mac or windows machine. Then you can airplay your phone to it. If you have the iPhone powerpoint app then you can just switch through slides that way I imagine. I use it to project microscope images and videos to the screen using my phone mounted onto my microscope.
