    I'm terrible with bulletin boards.

I have one of those big trees from Carson-Dellosa that I'm planning to hang on my back wall:

    http://www.carsondellosa.com/cd2/Products/ProductView.aspx?np=N&id=110007&keyword=tree&oid=3049

I also have some apple cutouts that I was thinking of putting on the tree, with student's names written on them. Any ideas for a title?? The only thing I can think of is "Pisces_Fish Has the Best of the Bunch!" I don't really like that at all.

Also, I bought these cute accents the other day, and I don't know what to do with them:

I might use them to number student's cubbies, but I'd rather integrate them into a bulletin board. Ideas??

The first idea that comes to mind when I think of the tree and apples is... Pisces Fish's Apple-ing Group (as in appealing). :) Play on words there!
    Other ideas:
~A New Crop of __ Graders
    ~Autumn is Here!
~An Apple A Day, Keeps Us Learning, Hurray!

The accents you bought.. (just making sure that I have the right one) are fortune cookies, correct? How about a BB with the "title" along the lines of "Pisces Fish is FORTUNATE to have you in her class/room, etc." You could also use these for Character Counts Pillars.

"We're turning over a new leaf in Ms. PF's Room" to go with the tree

One of the teachers put the tree up as her BB all year, and changed seasonal diecuts around it. Her tagline was:
"Throughout the year, we'll change and grow. The more we learn...the more we know."

It's cute! She displays their writing pieces/etc. on the parts of the board not covered by the tree.

I know a teacher who has a tree and she writes the name of books they've read together on them. I can't recall the title at the moment,,,

For the fortune cookies, maybe have the kids (with help as needed) write a fortune that they wish to give either the whole class or for the world or something like that.

I've had a tree outside my room the past couple of years with the names of my "Tree-mendous First Graders."

Surely 5th graders can be tree-mendous at times also? ;)

I saw a bb that had the apple tree and the apples had the children's names on them and the title read, "You are the apple of my eye!"

How about "Apple-Licious?" or Ms. PF Bushels of KNowledge!
