Hello!! I just accepted an offer to work at an amazing school as a 6th grade language arts teacher. This is my dream job/school and feel so blessed to have a job before I graduate in May. I received the email from HR that says this: "I will let the principal know that you have accepted the offer. We also ask that you contact the principal to further discuss your position." What do I send in an email to this principal? I know him fairly well because I subbed at this school quite a bit before student teaching and what not. I obviously want to express my excitement and gratitude but I have no idea how to word anything. Any tips or help? Thank you!

You might try to see when you can begin setting up your classroom. My principal let's new hires come the post planning days of the school year and meet with the team and if their room is ready they can basically move in.
