Nice...so far, so good.
AWWW!!! I am loving this "story"! I agree, I love love stories, and REAL ones! Have a fantastic time tonight!
Yes she is! But she's taken. She's like me - I'm 31 but look 22, she's 57 and looks 40, tops. I have good genes

Oh, Ok - I can't stand the sad face! LOL!

He asked me to "go steady" last night
Yay, I have cute bf!!
Cool! So glad you are happy!
Wow, so do you see yourself possibly marrying him someday?
Ok when do we get to see a picture?
Just as long it isn't on the post office wall
So get this!! I left his house at 11 last night and drove home. So I text him good night but don't get a response. Figured he fell asleep. This morning I wake up and there's an email from him telling me to look at my car. There's a note on my windshield from him. He drove 30 minutes to my place at 3 am to check on me. I guess my cell wasn't working for some reason and he thought something happened to me. How cute!
So happy that things are going well!
YAY!!!! Sounds great Pisces!
FAB-U-LOUS! There are certainly men out there who are ready to make a commitment. Sounds like you found yourself one-go with this! Enjoy! Don't worry about the speed-like I said, dh and I knew very quickly it was IT.

How thoughtful! Driving at 3am to put a note on your car!
Pisces, I hope it continues to go well. I know you'd tell us if it didn't.
What a sweetheart!!! Sounds like a keeper!
Not to dampen anyone's excitement, but it's a shame many times how doing cute things like this seems to fly out the window after a couple's been dating for a long time. (Notice I said many times, NOT all the time!)
oh, Ms. I - that little thought crept in the back of my head too, but then I realized that I did it a few times when my daughter moved out of the house...and I'm not a stalker. LOL!
I hear what you're saying; but he sounds genuinely caring.
It sounds like he cares for you very much!!
uh like could I have his e mail so I can tell him he's breaking the guy code
Sounds like he has "read up" (studied) and learned "How to be a good guy"
He is doing everything right!

He dropped a bomb on me last night. We cooked dinner and were relaxing afterwards with a glass of wine. He seemed "off."
Turns out his dr. told him yesterday he suspects cancer...oh my god...
I'm not going anywhere. If it turns out he does have cancer I will be there for him 100%. I am falling in love with him. We had a nice cry together, hugging and just being sad and scared together.
Pray for us.
You're in my prayers, Pisces_Fish!
Woah, woah, woah. What news to hear when you're about to enter a new relationship. Not that young people can't get cancer, but he's not that old is he?
Hugs and prayers, pisces...
I will pray for you both. How long until the test results come back?
He's 33. He visits the dr. on the 11th.
I'll keep him and you in my prayers!
Oh no, that's young!
I can't help but wonder if we met for a reason. I mean, we've only known each other less than 2 weeks, and here he is slammed with a cancer scare. God forbid, if it's true, I want to be there to see him through it.
How long has he known that he was having health issues?
Pisces, as someone who has been affected by cancer more than I've ever wanted to with family members now that I'm thinking and praying for you.
I hate when doctors drop bombs on you like this, and then make you wait forever for your tests to come back or to talk to you again. It's not fair.
Cancer is a scary word, but as with anything, there are different kinds and types, ranging all sorts of extremes. Try to hang in there and just enjoy your time together for the next few weeks.
He's had high white blood counts for about 6 months but his dr wasn't concerned until his most recent visit (Wednesday, I think it was.) He mentioned Leukemia. If his blood count is still high after a round of antibiotics he will see a blood specialist.
Hugs to you. Leukemia and Lymphoma are close to my heart. I ran my marathon to raise money for leukemia research. The good news is that LLS (Leukemia Lymphoma Society) is relentless in their research of new medicines, treatments, and most importantly a cure. Please keep us posted!
both of you are in my prayers too, Pisces.
In my prayers, dear. I am proud of you.
Wow! Keep you in my prayers! Everything will turn out alright! Keep us posted!

I truly hope everything's alright for him. My young 30 something cousin died from an infection he got in the hospital for being treated for leukemia. I've also had relatives on both sides of my family w/ cancer.
Man, I sure hope they find a cure FAST!
Not to change the thread topic, but actually on the news the other day, I saw this story that said there's this new thing called Targeted Intraoperative Radiotherapy where a woman w/ breast cancer can have the surgery to remove the cancer AND have the complete radiation treatment ALL IN 1 DAY. The news showed them doing it on this 1 lady.
(min later...) Here's a link on the story:
