I am now a brand new High School Earth Science teacher!!!! The interview went FANTASTIC! I absolutely love the P. She is fabulous. She offered me the job right after the interview. Then she took me to see my classroom and the rest of the school. I can't believe how easy it all was. The questions she asked were pretty standard (classroom management, differentiation, etc.). We just really seemed to get along well. I'm SO excited!! She said that on Monday morning, HR will start processing everything so she's not exactly sure when my start date will be. But she doesn't want me to miss out on the new teacher orientation next week, so she said she'd love me to come and join them. I feel so incredibly blessed. I am truly in the right place at the right time. This is my first summer searching and I'm a career switcher. My #1 goal for 2010 was to become a teacher and I did it!! I have so much to look forward to!!! Thanks everyone on this board for the encouragement and support
