Guess what? My project on donorschoose.org is now fully funded! I got the email today and am sooooo excited! I wonder how long it takes for everything to get to me? Our new clubs start in two weeks. If I have everything, I can start mine right away!!! And Ann Taylor was one of the funders! Woot so excited! I tried to share the news with my dh, but he just gave me this look like, "Really? Can I get back to my game now?" ***Doing silly dances around her computer***
SWEET! I just got funded about a month ago for lots of books, and they arrived on Friday. Isn't it awesome?! Good for you!

Yup, it works! Woot! And thank you all! I think everyone should try this site, if you have a project that you are trying to implement! What is the worst that people can say...no? Pish, "no" doesn't phase me anymore, not when I'm trying to get things for my kiddos.
Yes, it is! It's definitely worth it to try. My club was too much money, but I really wanted to try it. I think it's going to be a success, and the kids won't even know they're actually learning!
I'm not surprised you got the funding-- that was a well written proprosal!!! You incorporated everything from everyone's favorite game to Winston Churchil to statistics on literacy. You were concrete and to the point. I would fund you if I had any money Congratulations on a job well done!!!

Congrats I am hoping that my current request gets funded. I would absolutely love it if my Elmo got funded (it would make things so much easier with the copying restrictions we have now). Keep your fingers crossed corps that I will be celebrating soon.

Yay for you!!! How did you do this? What did you say? I tried to do several of these and they never got funded
corps, It's 196569. I had one funded last year for literature for my classroom library since the teacher that I got the room from has cleaned it out completely (only left old construction paper) and I didn't have a lot of upper level reading. That proposal was for more than this one and I am just hoping that this one will make it before the end of the year.
