    HI All

I was offered a position for the fall based on a phone interview, then an in-person interview. I'm so excited. I was afraid my age and lack of experience in teaching would be against me, but it wasn't.

They liked the fact that I had a varied background.

So, in the fall, I'm going to be a spec. ed. teacher here in VA.

I also got called yesterday and asked if I could go do summer school immediately. I had to tell them to wait till Monday, as I was out of town accepting another job :)

    I'm psyched!

    HI

The High School will be resource and inclusion. The summer school is elem. and I have no idea, LOL. They called late last night and didn't tell me a lot of anything, just to be there Monday at 8am.

I'm a nervous wreck=- and it's 6 hours away from home, so I've been nuts trying to find housing for the term.

    Congratulations!

Working in both elementary over the summer and high school in the fall will give you an excellent opportunity to learn your likes/dislikes..

congrats! Try to get some rest this summer, after those summer school classes - you don't want to exhaust yourself before starting again in the fall.

lol goopp, I have exactly a week between summer school and my new job.

In that week, I have to move clear across the state. I might get to rest next summer.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

I just went to dollar general and spent a fortune on stuff. I also got white boards (from Lowes) and markers to use.

My daughter looked at my zillion bags and just rolled her eyes.

    HI

It's the shower wall boards. They will cut a sheet for you- the sheet costs about 11 bucks and will make 32 boards, 1x1'

I tested them last night, they work well, and clean well

Congratulations! Twice the blessings - you must be thrilled!!

With the showerboard, I hear that you have to wipe them right away or they don't clean up so well. Is that true?
