Just please don’t go back to Arizona. They won’t pay you crap and you did not seem to enjoy your teaching jobs there...
Haha! Sounds like a plan.
Congratulations! It feels so good to be done!

Just curious...what is the MS in?
Any full-time job offers yet?
Yeah, while in my experience most districts are okay with proof that you've met all the requirements, it can take certifications foreeeeveeeeeer to go through NYS.
How do you see the additional MS benefitting you as a candidate and potential employee?
He is probably maxed out on the pay scale or pretty darn close now for most salary schedules and he has a lot of options in terms of what he can teach. For example, he can teach Spanish and grades 1-6. And if my memory serves, he has one other certification, which can go a long way in certain districts.
Take my school for instance. If I were to get another Masters or a Doctorate — which I have thought about doing for some time — I would get an additional 2-4% yearly stipend, as per our salary schedule.

And since you have a lot of student loans (I wish you didn’t and could start your life!), you should apply to the highest-paying school districts. I know other posters will try to dissuade you on this because “salary isn’t everything,” but you need to start thinking about retirement and building your savings for a house. I don’t want you to be enslaved to a debtor your whole life...
Go get ‘em!!!
(Also, you know I love talking about money so when you get a job please let us know what you’ll be teaching, and what perks and salary you get, haha!)
