We got our list back today of students who didn't pass CRCT (state testing). I only have one little girl that didn't pass (ELL student, no English at home, only missed it by 5 points). I was positive I was going to have at least 8 or 9 out of the 25 that were on my instructional day list. This was just the Reading list so far (since that's the only thing that 3rd grade has to pass). I am hoping that Math is as good or at least almost as good since it's been a big push area in the county. I just had to share because we couldn't tell the kids yet (letters weren't ready yet) so I had to let someone know how excited I was. Why not my A to Z co-workers who understand the tremendous relief when you get back a report like that.
That's awesome!! When did yall take it? We are still waiting and I was wondering about how long it took to get the results.
Go 4th, We took it the week of April 19th. They got our results back alot earlier than I remember. Admin. said it's about a week earlier than usual. 1, 2, and 4 should have theirs back too I think.
Shouldbealsleep you should always expect miracles. It had to have been divine intervention that I only had one on that list, was soooo expecting more than that. Especially the child that reads at a 1.3 grade level. Didn't figure he would pass even WITH the accomodations- he did through a miracle. So did my SpED child and 4 others that read well below grade level. So how did it go with your crew?
Congrats Sally, I know, it's a terrific feeling isn't it? I slept absolutely wonderful Monday night after we found out.
