So, I spent my day making phone calls, emailing and checking out job posting. At around 5:30 I get this call. It wasn't from a school I had called earlier in the day.. BUT it was from the school I interviewed at about a month ago. When I interviewed a month ago it was for 1 of 2 science positions they had open... and after not hearing back from them for 3 weeks I finally called them and they said they filled those spots but if something happened, my record was on file. Well, something happened! I got a call saying they were told this morning they could have another position (in addition to those two spots already filled) and they want me to come in Weds!!! This was my #1 job choice and I'm on cloud nine right now. He said it would be a casual interview but they weren't going to really ask me questions, but tell me about the position, the school and those sorts of details. I would be meeting with the principal and vice principal (again) in addition to the science dept chair (who was unable to make my original interview). He said that the science dept chair was going to be there and they really wanted to just retouch on what I'm about and get a "fresh perspective" from the science dept chair. He also said they are looking to hire someone by the end of this week. :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: :woot: Anyways, please, please, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers because I want this job SO badly.. I don't know if I could handle a 2nd rejection from them!! hehe

i think that whenever they call you back (even if it takes 4-EVER), it's definitely a good sign. i would wear my nicest suit and treat it just like any interview, though. i will definitely think good thoughts for you and i'm sure you'll have a job soon! good luck!! -meri
Thanks everyone! Last interview I wore my suit jacket and matching skirt with an ivory silk blouse. I don't want to wear the same thing, so I was thinking wearing black slacks, my suit jacket and a red blouse (something bolder). I'm hoping this is just a formality and I have a job by the end of this week because the job market just doesn't look all that promising.

Sounds great! I would dress like a regular interview as well. Yesterday when interviewing for the credential program, the woman interviewing before me had on a camisole with her jeans, bra straps sticking out and everything! Not very professional! Looking forward to your good news here soon!
It's at 3pm =o) I've got to go buy another silk blouse and see if my slacks looks alright with the suit jacket
